Macro CoreTerms of Use
Your use of Macro Core is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement and these additional terms. If they conflict, these terms apply to the extent the law allows.
1. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older.
2. What the app is
Macro Core is a personal logging tool for general fitness and wellness. It lets you record and visualise information you enter yourself. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, monitor or prevent any disease or condition, or to recommend any medicine, supplement, dose or schedule.
3. Not medical advice
Nothing in the app is medical, nutritional or fitness advice. Talk to a doctor or other qualified professional before changing your diet, starting an exercise programme, or starting, changing or stopping any medication, hormone, peptide or supplement. In an emergency, call 112 (Iceland) or your local emergency number.
4. Your entries and your choices
You decide what to log and what to do. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including laws on prescription medicines and controlled substances. The app does not supply, recommend or endorse any substance.
5. Food and calculation accuracy
Nutrition data comes from third-party and community databases (Open Food Facts, USDA FoodData Central) and from what you enter, and may be incomplete or wrong. Calorie targets and trends are estimates from published formulas. Check labels and use your own judgement.
6. Your account
Keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you think someone else has accessed your account. One account per person; don't share it.
7. Your data
Your data belongs to you. We store it to provide the service as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export it or delete your account at any time in the app. We make regular backups but can't guarantee the service will never lose data, so export important data from time to time.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service running but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. If we ever shut the service down, we'll give at least 60 days' notice and a way to export your data.
9. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, after telling you why where we're allowed to.
10. Subscriptions
The free version of Macro Core has no time limit. Macro Core Premium offers a 7-day free trial, then $14.99 a month or $59.99 a year (prices in your local currency are shown in the app). Payment is charged to your Apple ID when the free trial ends. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Purchases are made through Apple and governed by Apple's terms, including cancellation and refunds. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. Beta testers may receive a one-time App Store offer code for 20% off their first year of Premium; after the offer period the subscription renews at the normal price unless cancelled. A limited lifetime pass (a one-time purchase of Premium for as long as the app is offered) may be sold at launch, with only 25 available; beta testers can buy it first, and the first 10 testers who buy it pay a reduced price.
11. Liability
We provide the app with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; we'll show material changes in the app before they apply.
13. Law
Icelandic law applies, without depriving you of protections under the mandatory law of the country where you live. Contact: support@macrocore.app.
